CNG GREEN VEHICLES
Current model CNG Vehicles
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) vehicles offer one of the cleanest options available in alternative fossil fuels. CNG vehicles release fewer pollutants and greenhouse gases in comparison to traditional vehicles. However, not many CNG automobiles are commercially available at this time. If available, most are primarily used as fleet vehicles. Further, due to limited availablity of natural gas fueling locations, most CNG vehicles are dual-fuel and do not run exclusively on natural gas. The second fuel source is typically gasoline or diesel. Unfortunately, dual-fuel CNG vehicles require separate fuel tanks which can lessen the space available for passengers or cargo areas.
